How does a PortA-Coop ship?
- The 10x12' PortA-Coops are put on a 143" long by 42" wide pallet and weigh around 400 pounds. They will come on a delivery truck. You must be home to take delivery.
What are some of the features that make it easier to use a PortA- Coop compared to other brands of chicken tractors?
- The 10x12' PortA-Coop has a taller door at 72"high. The one piece handle makes for easier lifting and moving. The PortA-Coop wheels can easily be adjusted for moving height. Move by hand!
Does the PortA-Coop come assembled?
- No, you will need to assemble. One person can assemble the coop.Tools required for a 10x12' are a driver, crescent wrench, 9/16" & 1/2" wrench , ratchet, and 9/16"1/2" 3/8"5/16" sockets.
What is the PortA-Coops made of?
-The PortA-Coop is made of powder coated steel or galvanized steel. The netting is 1x2' netting welded to the frame for added protection. The wheels are flat free wheels. The tarp is a heavy duty and UV resistant.
